Iced Chai Latte Drink

Ingredients
  • 1.5 L boiling water
  • 6 bags chai tea
  • 108 g granulated sugar
  • 300 mL half and half
Instructions
  1. Add sugar or preferred substitute into a 2 L container.

  2. Into a heatproof measuring cup, steep the six tea bags with 500 mL of water for 30 seconds and then strain into the 2 L container.

  3. Steep another 500 mL of water for 1 minute and then strain into the container.

  4. Finally steep the last 500 mL of water for 2 minutes and then strain into the container. Stir to dilute the sugar and let cool completely.

  5. Add 300 mL of half and half and stir. Serve chilled without ice.

You can substitute 108 g of granulated sugar for 36 g of Truvia.
